The fitness side of living is very important, but it is no good working out for an hour losing those unwanted calories then tucking into a packet of biscuits and chocolate.

When you first take up exercise you may well feel extremely hungry afterwards so a diet and healthy eating is very important. Try to plan your meals in advance especially when you have had a session in the gym. Even if you hate cooking and are a ready meal person look at the fat and salt content in that meal.

However, if you can persuade yourself to go and buy a recipe book or two that shows how to prepare meals that are healthy to you it would not be long before you actually enjoyed cooking. It is such a satisactory feeling when you have eaten a tasty meal yourself. 

Healthy eating does not have to be boring eating, so look out for some tasty recipes and start cooking.
