Golf club sets come in so many ranges. Apart from mens clubs, ladies clubs and junior clubs there are different types of club shaft. There are regular, stiff and flexible club shafts, also there are bladed clubs and hollow back clubs. Therefore before you think of looking at golf club sets what standard of golf are you.
If you are a beginner, hollow backed golf clubs would probably be easier to use, they are a little more forgiving. The bladed clubs in my opinion are for the more experienced golfer with a low handicap.
When looking for the first time for golf club sets some people find it more difficult at first to use golf club woods, so it may be beneficial to just look at golf irons. By using golf irons to start could give you confidence quickly, then move to golf club woods.
With regards to golf club shaft it will depend again on your experience in the game and how flexible you are. Because I cannot generate good club head speed I have more of a flexible shaft for the older person.
